Mind Power Qigong


Mind Power Qigong DVD is suitable  for beginners! This DVD is performed by Grandmaster Gary Khor, each movement is performed and repeated 3 times showing you the details of how to step, place the foot and move the body along with the hands. The DVD is instructional with Grandmaster Khor’s voice over explaining the movements along with breathing techniques. This DVD goes together with the Mind Power Qigong learning aid booklet as a visual to help you learn.

Mind Power Qigong can be practiced on its own or as an excellent warm up or cool down after the practice of other Qigong forms such as Tai Chi, Lohan and Tao Yin. If practising the set alone, a 15 minute session each day is recommended. Mind Power Qigong is suitable for any age group or level of fitness though any person with a medical condition should check with their practitioner about the suitability of the exercises. The movements follow traditional martial arts principles. They involve full extension of the limbs in stretching movements and emphasise the development and use of the Shen (emotion/spirit) through use of mental imagery. The exercises will help strengthen the mind, body and spirit improving the lympathic system, cardiovascular, respiratory, immune system and other bodily systems.
