Meditation Qigong Package

$120.00 / month

Meditation Qigong package is suitable for all levels whether you are a beginner or advanced in learning Tai Chi. This package focuses on learning exercise sets with mindfulness and body awareness. The exercises focus on simple movements which trains the sensitivity and sensations within the human body. Each of these sets follow the foundation basics of using the ‘Horse Stance’ whilst performing movements that come from the body. Using the Yin and Yang principle, lowering the weight helps to solidify the stability with Yang Descending and then the top half is light being Yin.

Dao Yin – The exercises teach you to be calm and relaxed, centering the Qi back into the Dan Tien (energy reservoir) where the source is located just 1.5cm below the naval. Movements help to stimulate blood flow which nourishes and heals the internal bodily systems whilst improving the function of the organs as well.

Mind Power Qigong – The movements follow traditional martial arts principles. They involve full extension of the limbs in stretching movements and emphasise the development and use of the Shen (emotion/spirit) through use of mental imagery.

Lotus Qigong – The Lotus Tai Chi qigong exercise is often used as a ‘cool down’ exercise after practising Tai Chi or other forms of Qigong. It is, however, much more than this and may be used as a “warm up” or event a stand-alone Qigong. The exercise uses many Tai Chi principles and is used as part of training the body.
