The Shao Lin Yoga Package consist of learning the Luo Han Qigong originated from the Shao Lin temple. The movements focus on stretching the body gently with postural alignment to help improve stability and control. The breathing techniques follow with the direction of the movements whilst expanding and sinking the weight down. The package is suitable for beginners and everyone for all levels. It balances left and right hemispheres of the brain, enabling one to be ultimately focused in the present. The movements follow traditional martial arts principles. They involve full extension of the limbs in stretching movements and emphasise the development and use of the Shen (emotion/spirit) through use of mental imagery. It has the potential to strengthen the physical body gently but deeply. It can be instantly relaxing, bringing one a sense of calm and peace.

Luo Han Qigong 1 – This video will give you the basic foundations of Tai Chi strengthening the muscles of the legs including the quadriceps, hamstrings, gastronemius muscles, glutes, upright postural alignment, breathing, weight transfer and meditation whilst moving.

Luo Han Qigong 2 – Level 2 is a carry on but with separate movements that require a lot of body control and co-ordination. Movements here are focused on the body more than the arms.
